Kenya’s rapid urbanization is reshaping how millions of children live, learn, and move within cities. More than half of the urban population is under 18, yet children’s needs—especially in informal settlements—are often overlooked in planning, infrastructure, and climate investments.

By placing children at the center of urban development, C4CY–Kenya supports more equitable, resilient, and sustainable cities that benefit children, families, and communities.
