Stakeholder engagement

Cities4Children and Youth Kenya Alliance joined key stakeholders at the Informality Task Force (ITF) Engagement Meeting in Kenya to discuss partnerships for advancing climate-resilient, community-driven housing solutions in informal settlements and urban poor communities.

Our Impact

Through its national work and affiliation with the Cities4Children Global Alliance, C4CY–Kenya has contributed to:

Increased recognition of child-responsive urban planning and mobility within county governance processes
Stronger collaboration between civil society, county governments, and development partners on urban child-focused agendas
Improved capacity of practitioners and youth leaders to apply inclusive and child-responsive approaches
Greater visibility of children’s needs in discussions on informal settlements, public spaces, climate resilience, and urban services
C4CY-Ke is now recognized as a technical partner on inclusive urban policy dialogue in diverse sectors including national and county governments
